In 2009 the new Porsche 911 Turbo (997) (997TT) MKII was released with the most notable change over the previous model came in its larger power plant. Porsche upped the engine capacity on the new 997 Turbo from the long-standing 3.6 liters to 3.8 liters. This larger capacity pushed up the power to an incredible 500hp. Cosmetically the changes were minimal such as the addition on LED lights to the brake lights. The new Porsche 997 Turbo also has an available PDK automatic 7-speed transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel replacing the aging shift buttons.
