2005-2008 Porsche 997 (911) (997.1) Carrera 4S Specifications SpecsIn 2005 the Porsche 997 (911) Carrera 4S was released with a larger engine capacity and more aggressive look than the standard 4. As with previous 4S models this Porsche 911 came with a Turbo body, brakes and suspension minus the turbo. This version of the 997 Carrera 4S came with a 3.8-liter engine also available in the 2-wheel drive S model. The 997 4S also came with the PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) system allowing drivers to adjust the suspension at the press of a button to match the desired driving style. The 997 4S definitely was one of the most technologically advanced 911s to that point with its ingenious all wheel drive system, advanced suspension management system and refined power plant.
