1984-1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Specifications SpecsIn 1984 Porsche replaced the SC with the new Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 liter. This new Porsche 911 Carrera received the same body as the SC, but saw a dramatic improvement in the engine output. The engine capacity was upped from the 3.0 to 3.2 liters boosting the power 231 horsepower. This was the first 911 to have a electronic engine management. In 1987 the 3.2 Carrera received an updated G50 transmission. To many this Porsche 911 represented one of the last true classic 911s which is represented in their great resale values.
