1974-1977 Porsche 911 Carrera Specifications SpecsThe 1974-1977 Porsche 911 Carrera took the position as the top of the line 911 for the previous leader the S. For every other country besides the USA the 911 Carrera came with the same 2.7-liter flat 6-cylinder engine from the previous 911 RS.  The USA market received the same engine as the 911S.
