1972 Porsche 911T Specifications SpecsThe 1972 Porsche 911T received a larger capacity engine from its previous 2.2-liter to a 2.4-liter. For the USA the 911T came with fuel injection, but for the rest of the world it remained carbureted. Even though it was still the economy model for the Porsche 911 Carrera  line up, most buyers of the time upgraded the identifiable 911T stock items to make it look more like the expensive models.
